Abstract

Classroom Action Research (CAR) is a research method that involves collaboration between teachers and researchers to improve classroom practice.  The purpose of this research is to analyze strategies for building collaboration in Classroom Action Research (CAR).  This study used a library research approach and applied descriptive analysis as a data analysis technique.  The results of the study explain that in carrying out collaborative classroom action research, the right strategy must be used so that effective and efficient collaboration can be built.  Strategies that can assist researchers in building strong collaboration in CAR include: 1) maintaining and establishing open and clear communication with those involved in CAR;  2) Collaborative PTK needs to be investigated or diagnosed collaboratively and systematically on real and factual problems faced by teachers or students during classroom learning;  3) clearly assigning tasks and responsibilities to each team member with their respective intensity and 4) always evaluating and reflecting on the process of collaboration in classroom action research.
