Abstract

The primary objective of this essay is to ascertain and analyze the fundamental assumptions of Classroom Action Research. Specifically, it will delve into four key assumptions, namely Ontological, Epistemological, Methodological, and Social assumptions. The library research method is employed to gather data or materials pertaining to these fundamental assumptions. Beliefs serve as suppositions or postulations regarding empirical entities in order to acquire knowledge. A preliminary framework or foundation for research endeavors is necessary prior to establishing the veracity of the subject under investigation. Research is a fundamental methodology employed to cultivate knowledge, wherein its outcomes contribute to the formulation of novel theoretical frameworks. Similarly, in the pursuit of advancing the field of Islamic education, it is imperative to engage in rigorous research endeavors. The fundamental principles behind scientific investigation are derived from the tenets of empiricism, ontological considerations, and epistemological perspectives. The research endeavor will generate valuable knowledge that can be of assistance to future individuals.
