Mengembangkan Kepekaan Sosial Guru Melalui Penelitian Tindak Kelas
Abstract
Teachers cannot overcome problems if they are unaware of the problems that arise in life or do not have social sensitivity. An educator should provide knowledge that enables people to overcome life's problems in their professional duties and everyday life. A professional teacher will forever strive to improve the quality of learning. The method used in preparing this article is the literature study method. The study results show that social sensitivity is an essential ability for a teacher. Teachers with high social sensitivity can feel and observe other people's reactions and changes, both through verbal and nonverbal communication. By having social sensitivity, a teacher can understand and be aware of the reactions shown by students, whether positive or negative. Teachers can better read facial expressions, body language, and other social signals to understand students' needs, feelings, and well-being.
