Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Talking Stick untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa pada Pembelajaran Fiqh Kelas IV MIS Tigaherang-Ciamis
Abstract
The study of Fiqh is an integral component of Islamic religious education, encompassing the acquisition of knowledge pertaining to the teachings of Sharia law. It serves as a guiding framework for students, enabling them to develop their own beliefs and acquire a comprehensive understanding of Islamic law. Nevertheless, the application of teacher-centered learning often leads to classroom passivity among pupils. Furthermore, the utilization of the lecture technique in fiqh education appears to be monotonous, hence resulting in diminished student learning outcomes. The objective of this study is to assess the potential impact of implementing the talking stick learning paradigm on the academic achievements of fourth-grade students at MIS Tigaherang. The research methodology employed in this study is the Classroom Action (PTK) approach, which encompasses pre-cycle activities, cycle I, and cycle II. The data analysis revealed that the mean value of the initial cycle was 73.2, while the mean value of the subsequent cycle exhibited an increase to 83.5. The proportion of students who attained a perfect score and the overall mean both exhibited an upward trend. The present study suggests that the utilization of this media has the potential to significantly enhance the academic achievements of fourth-grade students in Fiqh education at MIS Tigaherang.
